Hi all

We have been asked to install a SmappeePro energy monitoring device. By all accounts it looks like a nice piece of kit . It is not MRDA or HRDA but still requires proof of compliance with relevant New Zealand Standard(s) ,any accredited test reports, or recognised certification showing compliance. The manufacturers instructions (link attached) show 3 different voltage supply recommendations - 120-220Vac, max 240Vac and 90-264Vac which raised my eyebrows. They also state that it conforms to UL/IEC/EN 61010-1 Ed3 2010, CAT III which may be all we need to show that it has "recognised certification showing compliance". I've requested documents from the supplier but got the ol' "we've installed heaps with no issues" and have received no documents. I am a sparky but will be giving this job to another spark so want to make sure he has enough info to satisfy any questions he may have. Do you all deem the manufacturers instructions attached as sufficient to be satisfied?
