I've been putting in powerpoints for bathroom heaters recently as they all seem to come with molded plugs now. I guess this is to limit the manufacturers liability. I have a customer however who is a designer who has bought an infra red heater from somewhere that, from his info can be fitted to the ceiling. It comes with a lead & plug which of course will look like crap if plugged into a power point in his bathroom ceiling. What's the story with cutting the plug & connector block or crimped join in the ceiling behind? I'm kinda thinking it's not much different than a mirror heat pad. The heater is 360watts.
I've asked for a Sdoc but they may not need one if they have a plug on?
