I have an off grid solar install to do (3.42kW panels, 5kW inverter, 48v PbS04 batteries) So have been going through the Solar standard - ASNZS5033-2014 and noticed clause 1.4.20 defines extra low voltage as: "Voltage not exceeding 50v a.c. or 120v ripple-free d.c." - I remember it being 32vac or 50vdc. Is there multiple definitions for voltage levels?

ELV is defined in the Electrical Safety Regulation as 50V AC or 120V DC ripple free, many years ago it used to be 32VAC or 50VDC
